The Spirit of God is the living water. In the book of John, there is a couple passages of scripture where Jesus talking to a woman at a well. John 7:37-38 says, "37. Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "if any man is thirsty, let hime come to Me and drink. 38. "He who believes in Me, as scripture said, 'From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.'"

Prayer of Thanksgiving and Love

Hey everyone, the prayer for today is:

O God, my God, I give you thanks; you are my God, I shall proclaim your name forever, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God. Father, you said that you love the entire world, which is why you sacrificed your only begotten Son. It is your love that compels us to come to an understanding of who you are. Father, we ask today that you show us mercy. Our Lord said while He was hanging on the cross, forgive them Father they no what they do. Most time we do not know what we are doing or know the consequences of our actions. Give us wisdom with understanding Lord, so we can have the same love and compassion you have.

1 John 4:14-16 says,

"14. And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

  1. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

  2. And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him."

Do you know that there is no fear in love, perfect love cast out fear, and this love leaves you with faith and hope. So, God leaves us with a commandment and the commandment is we are to love God and love our neighbors. And who are our neighbors, they are our brothers and sister’s human beings. We are to love one another. God wants us to show love and by doing so you are showing the best version of yourself. You are displaying the God part of you. Take down the walls you have built and love yourself. You cannot love others if you do not love yourself.

Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on us, Amen
